Terms and Conditions

Booking & Confirmation

-All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Iceland Odyssey.
-After submitting a booking request, guests will receive confirmation by email or WhatsApp.
-No deposit is required to confirm most bookings unless otherwise stated for special services or partner activities.
-Iceland Odyssey reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances.

Payment Policy

We offer flexible payment options:

Option 1 — Secure Online Payment

Guests may pay in advance via a secure payment link sent by Iceland Odyssey.

Option 2 — Book Now, Pay Later

Guests may reserve their tour and pay later directly to the driver-guide at the beginning of the tour, unless otherwise agreed.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Bank Transfer
  • Cash (selected tours/services)

All prices are listed in the agreed currency unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation

We offer free cancellation for all standard private tours and transfers.

  • Guests may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • No cancellation fees will be charged within the free cancellation period.

Late Cancellation / No-Show

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • No-shows without prior notice may be charged up to the full tour amount.

Weather & Safety Conditions

Iceland weather can change rapidly.

  • Iceland Odyssey reserves the right to modify routes, timing, or itineraries due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, or force majeure circumstances.
  • If a tour is cancelled by Iceland Odyssey due to unsafe conditions, guests will be offered:
    • An alternative date,
    • An alternative tour,
    • Or a full refund if payment was already made.

Northern Lights visibility, volcanic activity, wildlife sightings, and natural phenomena cannot be guaranteed.

Pickup Information

  • Guests are responsible for providing accurate pickup information.
  • Private airport transfers include reasonable waiting time unless otherwise agreed.

Responsibility & Liability

  • Guests participate in tours and activities at their own responsibility.
    • Iceland Odyssey is not responsible for:
      • Personal injury caused by unsafe behavior,
      • Loss or damage of personal belongings,
      • Delays caused by weather, road closures, traffic, or third-party operators.

Travel Insurance

  • We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

    • Trip cancellation,
    • Medical expenses,
    • Personal belongings,
    • Weather-related disruptions.

Privacy

Personal information provided during booking is used only for reservation and operational purposes and will not be shared with third parties except when necessary for tour operations.
