This private tour combines Iceland’s most popular sightseeing route with one of the most famous geothermal spas in the world.
Your day begins with pickup in Reykjavík by your private driver-guide, who will take you along the legendary Golden Circle route.
The first stop is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most historically important locations in Iceland. Here you can walk through a dramatic rift valley where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates slowly drift apart.
Next, the journey continues to the Geysir geothermal area in Haukadalur valley. This geothermal field is home to Strokkur, an active geyser that erupts every 5–10 minutes, shooting boiling water high into the air. The area is filled with steaming vents, bubbling pools, and colorful mineral formations.
From there, you will visit the spectacular Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland’s most powerful and beautiful waterfalls. Fed by the Langjökull glacier, the Hvítá river crashes down two dramatic tiers into a rugged canyon.
After exploring Iceland’s natural wonders, the tour continues to the Blue Lagoon, one of the most iconic geothermal spas in the world. Surrounded by black lava fields, the lagoon’s warm milky-blue water is rich in minerals such as silica and sulfur.
Here you can relax in the soothing geothermal water, enjoy a silica mud mask, and take in the unique volcanic landscape before returning to Reykjavík.
